At Macho we use tea tree oil at the base of our products. Throughout time tea tree has been used effectively to treat varying skin ailments and has shown to soothe these conditions. That’s why we believe that it’s a perfect companion for our waxing products.
FAQ’s
+ How early should I arrive for my treatment?
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment in order to register. Please note that if you arrive late your appointment may be shortened out of consideration to the next customer.
+ How often can I get waxed?
Ideally we recommend 6 mm is the optimum hair length. And depending on your own hair growth a frequency of every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended.
+ Do you have any postcare advice?
Due area sensitivity after waxing we advise you try and not do any of the following for at least 24 hours.
DO NOT
- wear tight clothing
- add any products to your skin, these include any deodrants, perfumed cosmetics, self-tanner + makeup.
- take hot baths.
- go swimming.
- go sunbathing including sunbeds + heat treatments.
- do exercise that will cause any friction to the area that has been treated.
- rub or scrub treated area
DO
- exfoliate once a week + minimum of three days after your wax with Macho.
- invest in a ingrowing hair cream. This will help control any ingrowing hair. Try and maintain once a day for two weeks.
+ Is there an age policy?
Yes, our treatments are specially tailored for adults only.
+ How much notice is required to cancel?
We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel an appointment. If that happens, we respectfully ask for scheduled appointments to be cancelled at least 24 hour in advance. Please arrive on time for your appointment! Regretfully late arrival will constitute reduced treatment time but you will be charged a 100% of the reserved treatment price. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a charge that is equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. No Shows and last minute cancellations will be charged for a 100% of treatment. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive our services.
